Local Social Media​

Reading Buddie

Be paired with a student "reading buddy" to motivate reading habits.

Conversation Partners

Native English speakers who volunteer to have regular conversations with English learners, helping them practice listening and speaking skills based on their English level.

Reading Mentors/Tutors

Provide one-on-one or small group reading support and tutoring.

Debate Club Leader

Help students prepare for tournaments by holding practice debates and speeches.

Must be a student from a public school in a rural community, and in an Hispanic country.
Library/Book Spaces Coordinators

Oversee operations at community library/reading space locations.

Manage book checkout/return processes and keep shelves organized.

Organize book drives and collection efforts in local communities.

Sort and catalog donated books by age level/genre.

Facilitate reading-based programming like storytimes, book clubs.

Promote library resources and engage with local families/students.
